On Friday, June 11th 1982, moviegoers were introduced to a lovable Extra Terrestrial with a taste for Reese's Pieces (and beer)-- and the summer blockbuster would never be the same.
Later that year, a video game was rushed to market that would be blamed for the collapse of the Atari 2600. It confused players, sold poorly, and was unceremoniously dumped by the thousands in a New Mexico landfill (recently documented in the film Game Over).
This pin celebrates 39 years of the film, and that game-- an unfairly maligned game that was much more playable than the legends have it!
The E.T. 2600 pin features the iconic shape in glow-in-the-dark green enamel with gold metallic trim. This is a limited edition pin, so celebrate this anniversary in style while it lasts!
